Spawning season for Red Drum begins in late summer or early fall and continues into early winter. Redfish are found in grass flats, bays and in the Gulf. In the fall, these amazing fish aggregate in large schools and swim through Pensacola Pass.
My wife, sister, dad, and myself went on a four hour trip with Captain Tony. We had a great time and caught Spanish Mackerel and some big Red Fish. Capt. My adult daughter, and granddaughter (age 7) and grandson (age 6) had a delightful four hours of fishing with Captain Tony. Catching a red fish my first cast let me know we were in for a fun day. In addition to fishing we saw schools of dolphin and a very large school of tarpon in Pensacola Bay. Captain Tony was very good with the kids and we all had a relaxed and enjoyable day. The next time we are in the area we will be calling Captain Tony for another great fishing trip.
